Dr. Marc Corkern
Dr. Marcus Corkern is a native of Baton Rouge and graduated from The Dunham School in 2003. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Ole Miss before entering dental school in 2009. After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2013, Dr. Corkern spent the following year working on an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Birmingham, AL. During this residency, Dr. Corkern received extensive experience in dental implant placement and restoration, as well as further training in fixed prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) and removable prosthodontics (complete dentures, partial dentures, and implant supported dentures). Dr. Corkern’s primary focus is to educate his patients about good oral health and hygiene while striving to provide excellent dental care in a relaxed and pain free environment.
Outside of the office, Dr. Corkern enjoys both Ole Miss and LSU sports and is also an avid Saints fan. He enjoys hunting, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Karen, daughters Kennedy and Avery Claire, and their two boxers, Dorsey and Willis.
